No Project is Too Small
The firm will work with any size budget to devise
plans that create a unique image, increase public awareness of their
client's presence in the
community and the ability to compete in the
marketplace.
Entering the neat, attractive offices located at
98 Findley Street in Elkins, visitors sense the friendly, "open door" atmosphere, smell the aroma of
fresh coffee, and experience a warm greeting, often by owner and CEO
Bill Phillips, Jr.
A staff of nine eager and energetic
professionals is ready to sit down with potential clients to discuss
their needs and goals. The firm represents a virtual marketplace of
unique ideas, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the promotional
elements necessary to help clients achieve a competitive
edge.
Creative problem solving and the marketing of ideas
through a combination of different mediums identifies the firm as
one of the most professional such organizations in North Central
West Virginia.
Marketing Dollars Are Spent
Effectively
Phillips emphasizes his firm's willingness to work within a
client's budget-by the project, by the hour or by
retainer. Clients trust that their marketing dollars will be
effectively spent in ways known to motivate customers and provide
the potential for generating higher revenues. Quotes are given free
of charge.
Providing solutions by anticipating a client's needs, conducting market
research, and turning business activities into news is the firm's underlying goal.
A Full Range of Promotional Options Are
Available
A client may require a professional
quality brochure or poster, an attractive letterhead, business card,
newsletter, or an appropriate logo to serve as a symbol of that
business. Others may request a promotional video as well as
professional photography to bring additional attention to their
business.
Still others may want to target their enterprise
through a combination of advertising/marketing mediums, including
radio and television commercials, newspaper advertising, billboards,
the design of an effective website, or an eye-catching sign that
will attract customers to their doors.
No project is
considered too small. For example, a client may need only a single
press release to draw attention to a new or improved product or
other important aspects of their business. Press releases are
written in the accepted journalistic style and are strategically
distributed.
"Our National Alpaca Farm Day
received statewide publicity as a result of the work and contacts of
The Phillips Group,"
-said Becky Hammer, owner of Orchard
Hill Farm.

We Further the Promotional Goals of the
Public and Private Sector
The staff has extensive
expertise in areas such as healthcare and tourism marketing,
community and economic development and customer relations.
Consulting work has been provided in planning marketing campaigns,
crisis communications, public policy, strategic planning, event
management, and public and government relations.
A website,
designed by the firm and launched last year by Graceland Inn and
Conference Center, received top recognition during the awards
ceremony at the annual Governor's Tourism Conference in Charleston.
According to a Graceland official, in the months that followed,
activity on the website increased by nearly 100 percent.
"This award would not have been
possible without the vision and creativity of the The Phillips
Group,"- said the
official.
Event Planning
Staging a
special event or grand opening to attract the public's attention to a new business can
be a daunting task for the owner/manager. The firm excels in the
management.
Last fall, when Kenny Sexton, president and
producer of American Mountain Theater wanted to showcase his new
500-seat theater in the Elkins Railyard by staging a grand opening,
he turned to The Phillips Group to manage the event. Gov. Joe
Manchin, accompanied by First Lady Gayle Manchin, accepted an
invitation to attend the gala and delivered the official greeting
before a full house of enthusiastic theatergoers.
"It was just spectacular,"- says Sexton. "The Phillips Group left no stone
unturned to insure that our grand opening was one of the most
exciting and thoroughly planned events I've ever experienced."
In 2006, The City of Elkins
commissioned The Phillips Group to manage a process to engage Elkins
and Randolph County citizens in looking at the future. They
organized a citizen's survey,
roundtable discussions and town hall meetings. A 130-page report,
reflecting all aspects of the Vision 2010 project, was compiled by
the firm. The report received statewide attention from community
organizers and state economic development
personnel.
Everything
Communicates
"Customers judge
your business by the way you answer the phone, greet the public, how
employees dress on the job, your signage, your business card.
Everything communicates, positively or negatively, in your customer
relations,"- says Phillips. |
